red-and-green aurora was seen looking north at 11 p.m. on the 5th of November,
2001 (2001-11-06 0300 UT). I took this picture from the end of our driveway.
A bright half-moon was near Sirius, to the east (right). I rarely see aurora
at 39.9 degrees N in New Jersey. Olympus
